How to use gas masks

The material and structure of various gas masks are different, but you can refer to the same method of use, the following is the use and maintenance of silicone large-field gas masks.

First, check the gas mask before use:

1. Check whether the mask has cracks and breaks before use to ensure that the mask fits and seals the face;

2. Check whether the exhalation valve plate is deformed, cracked and cracked;

3, check whether the headband is elastic;

4. Check whether the sealing ring of the filter box seat is intact;

5. Check whether the filter box is in use

Second, gas mask wearing instructions:

1, cover the mask over the mouth and nose, and then pull the headband frame to the top of the head;

2, use both hands to pull the lower headband to the back of the neck, and then buckle;

3. For air-dried masks, please carefully check the connection parts and the tightness of the exhalation valve and suction valve, and put the mask in a clean place for next use;

4, please do not use organic solution cleaning agent to clean, otherwise it will reduce the use effect.

Third, gas mask wearing tightness test:

Test method 1: Cover the exhalation valve with the palm of the hand and exhale slowly. If the face feels a certain pressure, but there is no air leakage between the face and the mask, it means that the wearing is good. If there is leakage between the face and the mask, it is necessary to re-adjust the headband and the mask to eliminate the leakage phenomenon.

Test method 2: Cover the connecting port of the filter box seat with the palm of your hand, slowly inhale, if you feel breathing difficulties, it means that the mask is well sealed. If you feel that you can inhale air, you need to readjust the position of the mask and adjust the tightness of the headband to eliminate air leakage.

Do the tightness test according to the above method 1 and method 2 until the tightness is good.

4. Replacement and assembly method of filter box:

1, according to the effective anti-virus time of the filter box replacement or feel odor replacement;

2. Remove the sealing layer of the filter box, and align the screws of the filter box with the filter box seat, tighten them clockwise, and press the filter box to the box seat.

Five, gas mask replacement conditions:

1, when wearing, if you smell the faint smell of poison gas, you should leave the toxic area immediately.

(2) Where the oxygen in the toxic area accounts for less than 18% of the volume and the toxic gas accounts for more than 2% of the total volume, each type of filter tank can not play a protective role.

Vi. Other Aspects:

1. After each use, the screw cap on the upper part of the filter tank should be screwed on, and the rubber plug should be stuffed and stored to avoid internal moisture.

2, the filter tank should be stored in a dry, clean, air circulation of the warehouse environment, strictly prevent moisture, overheating, valid for 5 years, more than 5 years should be re-identified.
